Rūrangi marks the screen debut of 29-year-old newcomer Elz Carrad, our sensational leading man. Hailing from the Hokianga, Elz divides his time between his job in printing in Auckland, acting auditions, gym, playing guitar - and raising his family with wife Dana. Elz speaks fluent Māori (te reo Māori was the primary language of his education up until age 16). He loves exercising, spending time at the beach with his dog & going on adventures. Elz’s favourite snacks are peanut butter on toast & potato chips.
